First Year Success has found that students who complete a Paying For College Worksheet before coming to campus are more successful in their first year. Complete your worksheet:
  1. Log into your admissions portal.
  2. Select the "Financial Aid" link.
  3. Scroll down to "Estimate Your OSU Cost."
If you'd like step-by-step instructions on completing your Paying for College Worksheet, check the prompts below that match your student level. After you submit your worksheet, you'll be entered into a drawing for a $500 scholarship.


 Step-By-Step Guide:
Filling Out Your College Cost Worksheet

  • Freshmen
    • Login to your admissions portal here
    • Under Status click on the Paying for College Worksheet link
    • The Student Information section will already be completed for you
    • Select Housing & Meal Options, Residence Hall, and Meal Plan 
    •  Estimate your Yearly Direct OSU Costs using the following here  under the My Estimate section
    • Take note of your Total Costs
    • View your offered awards and Total Scholarships and Grants Offered
    • Fill in the corresponding sections in the Your Contributions and take note of your Total
    • Take note of the Remaining Cost section and review the potential Average Monthly Remaining Cost if you plan to purse the Bursar's Payment Option Plan. More Information here.
    • Submit (a copy will be emailed to you)
  • Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors
    • Visit the Scholarships & Financial Aid page here 
    • Fill out the Student Information section 
    • Select Housing & Meal Options, Residence Hall, and Meal Plan 
    •  Estimate your Yearly Direct OSU Costs using the following here  under the My Estimate section
    • Take note of your Total Costs
    • View your offered awards and Total Scholarships and Grants Offered
    • Fill in the corresponding sections in the Your Contributions and take note of your Total
