Family Resources
Welcome Cowboy Families!
Families play an important role in the success of your student, and we welcome you
with open arms at OSU. Our staff and faculty have worked hard to ensure that you and
your students have the best online orientation experience.
Students entering in the spring will receive an email with links to their Oklahoma
State student portal three days before their online orientation program. The portal
contains orientation resources and instructions regarding peer mentor connections
and academic advising.
The following resources are part of our family virtual orientation sessions. These
informative sessions, along with the Oklahoma State University Guidebook, provide the tools needed to help you support your students throughout the school
year.
Partnering With You for Student Success
Our campus is divided into leadership areas that will impact your student’s success
You are already familiar with Enrollment and Brand Management, as it includes Undergraduate Admissions, Scholarships and Financial Aid, and First Year Success.
Academic Affairs oversees the faculty and advisors who will guide your student’s academic pursuits, while Student Affairs guides learning and activities outside the classroom to enhance the student experience.
Institutional Diversity maintains a university system that is socially, culturally and globally competent, and embraces and promotes a more inclusive world.

Academic Preparation
Your student will be working with their Connection Crew peer mentors throughout the orientation and enrollment process. We also have two Connection Crew
members who have prepared materials to guide you through the information you need
to support your student’s success.
About Our Colleges
Your student will work with individuals in the academic college associated with their
official degree program throughout their academic career. Learn more about them and
the Honors College at the link below.
