Navigating Financial Aid and Finances During Your First Year
Learn financial strategies to pay for college, including information about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid from the Office of First Year Success and Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.
To better prepare you for this webinar, make sure you and your student complete the
"Paying for College Worksheet" found on your student's admissions portal here.
Students who complete this form are eligible to win a $500 FYS Scholarship.
Tools to Help Your First-Generation Student Succeed
Representatives from the campus community and the Office of First Year Success will help families of first-generation students* navigate the transition to OSU and answer questions.
*First-Generation students are defined as students whose parents did not graduate
from college.
Final Preparation for Summer
Listen to discussion over final preparations for your student’s summer experience
and hear from representatives from Orientation, Camp Cowboy and Cowboy Welcome as they discuss final
preparations for your student’s orientation program date and other summer opportunities.
Hear from one of our Academic Advisors regarding the process and expectations of enrollment
during the summer.
