Paying for College

We work in collaboration with the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid to address immediate monetary needs for you through financial education and counseling. In addition, we help you with financial literacy, strategies to overcome financial setbacks and mapping out plans for funding your education. We book appointments regularly for one on one financial planning.

Steps to paying for college

There are several steps you should follow related to scholarships and loans to cover your college costs. Learn more in the guide.

How to pay

Once on campus, your bill(s) will be distributed by the Office of the Bursar. This office bills and collects tuition, fees, campus housing and other university charges, as well as processes and disburses all federal and campus-based funds and refunds overpayment.

F1RST2GO Program

First-generation college student resources
At OSU, our first-generation students (first in your family to attend college) are important to us and we want you to have the resources you need to succeed. It's OK if you have lots of questions and aren't sure where to start. We want you to develop a network of friends and staff members to ease your transition and answer your most difficult questions. We offer a first-generation Living Learning Program so you can live with other students who are the first in their families to attend college. We also have a student organization just for our first generation students as well as activities and resources to make you feel at home.
